Medela SoftShells™ for Flat/Inverted Nipples

The Medela Nipple Formers for Flat/Inverted Nipples are specially designed for breastfeeding mothers experiencing flat or inverted nipples who want a safe and effective way to prepare for breastfeeding. These non-invasive nipple formers gently apply pressure on the areola, helping to gradually draw out flat or inverted nipples, making it easier for your baby to latch on. They are ideal for mothers who wish to ensure a comfortable and successful breastfeeding experience without discomfort or the need for surgical intervention.

Medela Nipple Formers feature a soft silicone membrane that feels gentle on the skin and an outer shell with ventilation holes to prevent humidity. The low-profile, snug design ensures comfort and natural appearance under clothing. They are BPA-free and one size fits all, making them suitable for all breast shapes and sizes. You can start using them from around 32 weeks of pregnancy, gradually increasing wear time up to eight hours per day. After birth, they can be used between feeds for 30–60 minutes. Standard bras are compatible, and milk that collects in the shell should be discarded. Cleaning is simple via boiling, microwave sanitising, or washing with mild soap and cold water.
